Four Oktoberfest beers to kick off fall

Oktoberfest kicked off with festivities revolving around German culture, food, and of course, beer! We picked four different Oktoberfest beers to try to celebrate the beginning of fall.

Leinenkugel Oktoberfest

  • Leinenkugel’s version of the Oktoberfest is a traditional Märzen-style beer with a toasted malt flavor and subtle, spicy hop notes. It is perfect for celebrating fall in true German fashion.

Sun King Oktoberfest

  • Sun King’s Oktoberfest is crafted with choice German malts and Noble hops, Sun King Oktoberfest has a clean malty start with a slightly earthy hop character and a crisp, dry finish.

Sam Adams Octoberfest

  • Sam Adam’s version of this classic style blends hearty malts for a deep, smooth flavor with notes of caramel creating a brew that’s perfect for the season, or whatever you’re celebrating.

Sierra Nevada Oktoberfest

  • Each year, Sierra Nevada partners with a different brewery to make their Oktoberfest beer. This year they partnered with Bamberg, Germany’s Mahrs Bräu on a new version of the classic style. This authentic version of the festival beer is deep golden in color with a rich malt complexity, but with a noticeable spicy hop character from the use of the nearly forgotten Record hop varietal.
