We’ve all been there. Sitting with a beer you can’t drink yet because it was poured incorrectly. While everyone else drinks their brew, you’re stuck dreaming of the rich, malty flavor you can’t indulge in. Well, friends, there is a solution. Here are some tips from our draft service department on how to pour the perfect beer and avoid the wait.
- Make sure you glass is clean. To really get the perfect pour, you must have no oils or debris – these could change the taste and leave a bad taste in your mouth. Pun intended.
- Begin by tilting your glass to about a 45 degree angle. You can use the counter or table to balance the bottom of the glass.
- Begin pouring the beer down the side of the glass in a quick flow.
- Once you’re glass is 1/2 full, yes we are optimists, bring the glass to a 90 degree angle and pour the rest of the beer into the middle.
