Leinekugel Oktoberfest Nut Bread

Fall is for great beer and lots baking, right? Well, this great recipe from Leinenkugel’s¬†combines both for a killer nut bread that your friends will be drooling over. Don’t trust me, though, so ahead and try it yourself!

What you’ll need:

  • 3 cups self-rising flour
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 12 oz. Leinenkugel’s Oktoberfest
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts

What you’ll do:

  1. Soak walnuts in beer.
  2. Mix self-rising flour, sugar and beer.
  3. Pour mixture into a greased load pan and bake for 1 hour at 400 degrees.
  4. Remove from oven, let cool and enjoy!
