Valentine’s Day recipe: Blue Moon Mustard-Dill Marinated Flank Steak
Serves:Serves 4-6Prep Time:24 hrs.
Cook Time:15 Minutes
  • 2-3 pounds of Flank Steak (skirt steak, or NY strips will work well too)
  • 1/2 cup of Dijon Mustard
  • 4 stems of fresh dill (about 1/4 to 1/3 cup chopped)
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 1/3 cup of lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tbsp Balsamic Vinegar
  • 2 tbsp Vegetable oil
Combine all wet ingredients into a bowl. Rough chop the dill and add to the wet ingredients. Mix well. Place Flank steak in marinating dish, or ziplock bag and pour marinade over. Coat all sides of the meat and marinade for 24 hours.
Once ready to grill, take steak and place on a hot grilling surface. Cook 3-4 minutes a side for medium rare. Be sure to let your steak rest for 5 minutes once off the grill.
Take left over marinade and transfer to a small sauce -pan, and bring this mixture to a simmer while steak is cooking. Slice steak into strips and place back in the cooked marinade.

Serving suggestions: Be sure to pair your steak with a Spring Blonde Wheat Ale and a nice arugula salad with balsamic vinaigrette and some grilled bread. Take your favorite loaf of fresh bread, cut in half the long way, brush it with olive oil and salt and put it directly on the grill for about a minute. This adds a wonderful texture and flavor to your steak!
