Zinfandel Tasting Notes & Information

  • Appellation: Lodi
  • Varietals: 93% Zinfandel, 7% Syrah
  • Color: Dark purple
  • Aroma: Aromas of red fruits (plum, cherry) and cinnamon spice
  • Taste: Good density, supple tannins, bright acidity and a long, smooth finish
  • Fermentation: Different blocks were fermented separately to preserve ideal characteristics of each. Each block spends an average of 12 days on the skins.
  • Aging: 12 months in 25% new Oak

  • Varietals: 87% Cabernet Sauvignon, then Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Petite Syrah and Sangiovese
  • Color: Dark purple
  • Aroma: Aromas of blue/black fruits (blackberries, blueberries) and cinnamon
  • Taste: Good density, firm tannin structure, and a long, smooth finish
  • Fermentation: Different blocks were fermented separately to preserve ideal characteristics of each. Each block spends an average of 18 days on the skins.
  • Aging: 15 months in 35% new Oak
